If you or a spouse works for a company that offers a matching gift program, we appreciate your taking the time to submit a matching gift application on the FBE's behalf. As a small, non-profit dedicated to making a difference in the Belmont Schools, we really appreciate the power of matching gifts!

Businesses typically allow Matching Gifts for the following FBE activities/events:
• Annual Appeal
• Apple Run
• Spelling Bee
• Star and Community Awards
• Auction purchases – the matching gift amount is the dollar amount that exceeds the actual value of the winning item (ex. Red Sox ticket value is $200; winning bid is $275 so the matching gift amount is $75; if the winning bid is below the item’s actual value, the purchase is not eligible for a matching gift.)

Please note that Raffle Tickets and other ‘chance’ type activities that the FBE may offer are not eligible for matching gifts as, per IRS guidelines, they are not tax deductible. The following information may be needed to complete the matching gift form, whether you do it online or on paper. If your submission must be submitted by the FBE by mail, please print it out, complete and sign the employee section, and mail it to the FBE at P.O. Box 518, Belmont so that our FBE treasurer can complete/sign the form and submit it for processing.
